Perry's Porch

St. Petersburg, FL

The Story

Situated at the start of the St. Pete Pier Approach, Perry’s Porch builds on the foundation established through our prior work along the waterfront corridor. The restaurant pays homage to C. Perry Snell, a 20th-century developer whose vision helped shape St. Petersburg’s character. The concept began with a simple idea: what it might feel like to step into Snell’s residence today. That vision informed a design that draws from old St. Pete nostalgia, translating the warmth and character of a historic home into a contemporary dining experience.

Perry’s Porch features expansive outdoor dining, strengthening the connection between guests and the waterfront along the Pier Approach. Overhangs wrap the building to create porch-like spaces that invite people to gather, dine, and linger. The dining floor is subtly elevated to provide a sense of separation between tables while maintaining open sightlines, allowing patrons to feel both comfortable and engaged with the activity around them. The experience remains open and social, with a scale and rhythm that reflect both the setting and the spirit of St. Pete.
