The Petrocelli Family Emergency Center is an addition and renovation to a 5,600 sf space on the first floor of Jupiter Medical Center. This addition provided space for eight new semi-private fast track bays, two new triage rooms, office space, nurse station, Founders’ Lounge, clean holding, soiled utility, and associated support spaces for the existing Emergency Department.

The new Center was designed to create an environment that is both practical and user-friendly in an effort to provide a sense of comfort, stability, and safety to the patients and families during their stay. The facility allows the hospital to add additional department staff, provide specialist consulting using telehealth technology, and dedicated emergency physicians during peak hours. The expanded department complements the medical center’s mission to provide quality healthcare to the region’s growing demand for critical health services.
